My Secret Garden takes pride in selling you the freshest flowers available. If care instructions are followed and your flowers have wilted within 24 hours of receipt, please return the flowers to us and we will be happy to replace them.

Care

For fresh cut flowers, fill a vase with water and half a packet of floral preservative. Remove leaves from stems that will be below the water line. Cut an inch or more off the end of the stem (for woody stems, tap lightly with a hammer.) Immediately place the stems into water. Re-cut the stems and change the water every other day.

If your flowers are in a vase with water, immediately fill with cold water up to the top. Change the water everyday by pouring out the water and refilling with cold water.

If your flowers are arranged in green floral foam, make sure that the foam is fully saturated with water at all times. Place the entire arrangement in a sink and allow water to run until it overflows.

Never place flowers in direct sunlight or warm/hot areas. Flowers should never be left in a vehicle for any length of time. Please use caution when placing arrangements on special surfaces, as the bottom of the container may stain or leave water marks.

Orchid Plant Care

Orchids will flower at least once a year if given the right conditions. They prefer bright, indirect sunlight, high humidity (above 65%), cool temperatures at night (60 degrees F) and warm temperatures during the day (70-80 degrees F.) Misting the leaves daily should be done in drier conditions. Water your orchid about once a week by running water through the base of the plant until the substrate (bark or soil) is moist. Never let the plant sit in any water.

Floral Availability

At My Secret Garden, we use only the freshest flowers available. Due to the seasonality of flowers, we may be required to substitute flowers, colors or containers. The style and look of your arrangement will not be compromised. If seasonality will greatly affect your arrangement, we will contact you to let you know of the situation.

Delivery

If placing an order for same day delivery, please do so by calling us at (800) 469-1514.

Delivery fees are calculated based on zip code. We do not deliver on Sundays. Minimum amount for delivery is $50.00, not including tax and delivery fee. Delivery times can not be guaranteed.

When ordering, please note any specific instructions regarding delivery, such as gate codes, suite numbers, etc. Also provide cell, work and home phone numbers for the recipient.

If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, our driver will determine if it is safe to leave the arrangement and notify the recipient with a phone call. If the arrangement can not be left, we will call and schedule a more convenient time for delivery.

Sales Tax and Payment Options

We are required to charge applicable prevailing California Sales Tax on the full amount of purchases. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and My Secret Garden gift certificates. We do not accept personal checks.

Exchange Policy

My Secret Garden will issue store credit or immediate exchange for all purchases made. There will be no refunds.
